Ilcsi Skincare Shopify Store

We partnered with the official U.S. distributor of the Ilcsi brand to create a Shopify-based online store tailored for the American market. Our services included e-commerce consulting, custom functionalities, integrations, UX/UI design, and market-specific adaptations to support Ilcsi’s successful U.S. market entry.

Project background

Ilcsi is a globally recognized brand known for its professional and certified natural skincare products. Made from fresh herbs, fruits, flowers, and vegetables, these eco-friendly products are available in over 140 varieties and sold in more than 30 countries worldwide.

To enter the U.S. online market, Waterfall Distributors Inc., the official U.S. distributor of Ilcsi, engaged us to design and develop a consistent and innovative Shopify-based B2C and B2B online store. Our goal was to create a platform that aligns with Ilcsi’s values while addressing the target market's specific needs of both consumer and business audiences.

Objectives

The project aimed to create a user-friendly and visually appealing B2C online store for consumers, reflecting the brand's values and Hungarian cultural roots. Additionally, within the same web store, a dedicated platform was developed to support B2B sales, catering to the specific needs of American beauty salons and resellers.

Specialized features were integrated, including a skincare routine quiz, a loyalty program, unique product displays, and advanced filtering options to enhance product discovery. The Shopify platform's full potential was utilized through additional applications and custom developments, ensuring a seamless and optimized user experience.

B2C marketing tools and App configurations:

Ritual Finder - The Ritual Finder feature, powered by the RevenueHunt: Recommender Quiz application, enables customers to receive personalized skincare product recommendations through a quick quiz. This interactive tool helps users design their complete skincare routine based on their habits and skin type, significantly boosting engagement and conversion rates.

Loyalty program - We also introduced an online loyalty program using the Bon Loyalty application. This points-based system incentivizes repeat purchases by offering rewards such as "Refer a Friend" bonuses and exclusive discounts for registration or newsletter sign-ups. These initiatives encourage long-term customer loyalty and increased sales.

B2B Sales:

The B2B sales functionality was implemented using applications from BSS Commerce, which enable seamless management of reseller applications, dynamic pricing, and customized offers. Through this solution, we also integrated a sales agent commission management system to streamline partner oversight and automate commission calculations.

Additionally, we developed a simple application and registration interface for B2B partners, simplifying the onboarding process. Registered B2B partners are provided with a dedicated login portal where they can easily place and manage their orders, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience tailored to their needs.

Advanced Filtering and Categorization

Based on the existing Ilcsi EU website, we developed a sophisticated filtering and categorization system using Metafields. This allows users to refine product lists and focus on the items that genuinely interest them, skipping unnecessary pages and products. The system supports the selection of multiple options simultaneously, providing a seamless and user-friendly browsing experience that enhances customer satisfaction and improves product discoverability.

They entrusted us to develop a Shopify-based e-commerce website, which would reflect their brand's professional image and offer a seamless shopping experience for customers. Our work encompassed UX/UI design and integrations.
Zhao Zhou Tea is a prestigious gourmet teahouse in Hungary, renowned for curating and sourcing exceptional teas from China, Nepal, Taiwan, and Japan. To better serve their growing customer base, they needed a more flexible, scalable, and efficient e-commerce platform.
Magyar Diafilmgyártó entrusted us with migrating their e-commerce platform from WooCommerce to Shopify. This project provided an opportunity to modernize their online store while creating a seamless, user-friendly experience that reflects the quality and tradition of their products.
We migrated the Györgytea online store from WooCommerce to Shopify. The project involved setting up both B2C and B2B sales platforms under a single domain, integrating with their ERP system (Nagy Machinátor), and delivering a full website redesign.
