Migrating Györgytea webstore to Shopify
Project Background
Györgytea Ltd. is a family-owned business specializing in medicinal teas, rooted in centuries-old knowledge. Their mission is to promote health and wellness through high-quality herbal products.

Objectives
The main objective of the project was to modernize and streamline Györgytea's online store presence by migrating from WooCommerce to Shopify. This involved creating a unified platform to serve both B2C and B2B customers while meeting specific business needs, including a unified storefront and consolidating B2C and B2B operations under one Shopify store to simplify management and enhance user experience. Tailored customer experience with dynamic interfaces and functionalities that adapt to user types, offering personalized product selections, pricing, and promotions for B2C and B2B customers. Seamless local ERP integration by a custom integration with the Nagy Machinátor ERP system to automate inventory management, order processing, and payment restrictions for B2B users. Enhanced operational efficiency by implementing features to manage B2B-specific restrictions, such as limiting purchases for customers with unpaid invoices or below minimum order values.
The goal was to provide a complex and scalable e-commerce solution that not only improved functionality but also aligned with Györgytea's mission of delivering excellent customer service to both individual and business clients.
Unified B2C and B2B Storefront
To meet the client’s business requirements, we integrated both B2C and B2B operations into a single Shopify store. Depending on the user type, the platform dynamically adjusts product offerings, promotions, and pricing, ensuring a tailored experience for each segment.

B2B User Restrictions
For B2B customers, we implemented restrictions based on ERP data. Clients with outstanding orders face certain limitations:
- Only cash-on-delivery is available for orders below a specific threshold.
- Orders can only be placed if they meet a minimum cart value.
- In extreme cases, B2B customers are unable to place new orders until outstanding balances are cleared.
Both B2C and B2B users benefit from tailored payment and shipping options based on their profiles, enhancing usability and efficiency.
